We are thrilled to welcome composer Laurence Osborn to our roster for general management.
Winner of the Royal Philharmonic Society Composition Prize in 2017 his “witty”, “dramatic”, and “delightful” music has been commissioned and performed by important ensembles including the London Symphony Orchestra, London Philharmonic Orchestra, Mahogany Opera Group, CHROMA, The Berkeley Ensemble, The English National Ballet, The Hebrides Ensemble, and Ensemble 360.
Recent compositions include This Isn't Me, I’m Not Mechanical commissioned by the Britten Sinfonia and performed on tour with harpsichordist Mahan Esfahani, and Micrographia commissioned by The Riot Ensemble and released on their latest disc Song Offerings.
Upcoming projects include a song-cycle for Agata Zubel and Ensemble Klang, and a performance of This Isn’t Me I’m Not Mechanical with Ensemble Modern under Sir George Benjamin.
