Description:

Sustained savagery is present in Laura Bowler's Theatre of Cruelty, recreating the shock that, say, the first movement of Bartok's 4th Quartet must have induced in its first listeners. The premiere was performed by the Kreutzer Quartet for Fuse Arts events.
