Description:

Brugmansia is a piece for solo trumpet and ensemble, taking its name from a poisonous flower in the shape of a trumpet. Laura Bowler plays on the role of the soloist with a ghostly 'anti-soloist' character, and explores movement and positions within the performance space and the combinations of timbres it invites to inhabit this theatre of sounds.
